With his reputation as a hard-working, down-to-earth, regular guy, George Clooney is one Hollywood star most men can relate to. Though he tends toward a more casual look and never appears to have invested too much time in his outfit, he has been voted a best-looking, best-dressed beautiful person multiple times. Clooney has described his personal style as “classic, yet modern” and says that for formal occasions he prefers to wear beautiful suits with no tie and the collar open.The best thing you can do to draw from Clooney’s fashion philosophy is to dress in a respectable, modern style and incorporate your own personal touches. His smile and calm, rocklike demeanor are two of his strongest assets. Find clothes that flatter you and make you feel at ease. New Gucci high top leather sneakers have dropped for the fall 2009 season. The two pairs (Nero/Black, Verde/White) are a throwback to the house’s vintage designs. They don’t have the frills of Gucci Native High-Top but it’s way cooler. The leather sneaker comes in black and white versions with the classic interlocking GG logo at the top of the tongue and the signature Gucci Green/Red/Green web. Sometimes simple is sleeker. The Verde/White version comes with red laces, a nice contrast. The sneaker has a retro appearance, yet keeps a current vibe. Already a favorite among celebrities; producers Swizz Beats and Jermaine Dupri have already copped pairs in both colors. Retail price is $535.

Slim Shady Sits In His AJ IVs
The one and only Slim Shady graces the cover of the latest issue of Sole Collector wearing the Mars Blackmon AJ IVs. Everyone pretty much knows that Eminem is a huge fan of the Jordan Brand and he speak on that, music and basketball during his interview. This issue is on newsstands now.
D.C. Rapper Wale (he’s flyer than the rest of them) recently debuted the Jordan L’Style, a Fall/Winter ‘09 shoe from the Jumpman camp that’s inspired by Michael’s newfound infatuation with motorcycle racing. The high top features the all too familiar Air Jordan III (3) midfoot tooling under the foot. Up top, the shoe is distinguished by two Velcro midfoot straps and a third around the ankle collar. The Jordan L’Style will hit later this Fall at most retailers worldwide. In the meantime, enjoy Wale’s new “Chillin’” video!
The Milus TriRetrograde watch and movement is really the novelty that put the watch maker back on the map a few years ago. Their latest creation using the unique triple retrograde seconds counters is this lady’s Merea TriRetrograpde Seconds Skeleton Joaillerie timepiece. This watch does not frame the TriRetrograde complication as much as past Milus watches have, though the fun-to-watch novelty that counts each minute in three retrograde counters of 20 seconds each is still there. The dial is partially skeletonized with decorated rose gold bridges and perlage polished steel below. The case in rose gold makes interesting use of diamond and ruby jewel decoration that has the look of the dial extend on to the bezel. Inside the watch is the automatic movement unique to Milus, and attached to the timepiece is a red stingray leather strap. I do enjoy the “barbell” style lugs. Definitely a standout watch that is hard to miss. Not for everyone’s tastes but enough people will be smitten.
