EYESCREAM 2009 May Issue featuring Nigo & Hiroshi Fujiwara

The cover of May’s issue of EYESCREAM Magazine will feature legendary Japanese entrepreneurs/designers Tomoaki “Nigo” Nagao and Hiroshi Fujiwara. Nigo and Hiroshi Fujiwara were  early business partners when first creating their monster Brands; A Bathing Ape and GoodEnough/Head Porter in their Nowhere Store. Nigo’s nickname literally means “number two” in Japanese; the MD of Astoarobot, the fashion store, coined the moniker when he noted the physical resemblance to Fujiwara Nigo and Hiroshi Fujiwara. Since they are ahead of the trend, expect the May issue to hit your local Japanese bookstore in April 2009.
